Giesecke & Devrient Australasia (G&D) was established in Melbourne in 1998 as a specialist card technology provider, initially to service the telecommunication market in the form of SIM cards - the only smartcard business in Australia at that time.
Experiencing strong growth from day one, today, after eleven years in business, G&D are the leading supplier of smartcards in Australasia, providing product, secure bureau and fulfillment services to major banking, telecommunication, government and commercial organisations in Australia and the Pacific Islands.

- Australia's first mobile banking application.
- Mifare smart cards for public transit implementation in two States.

Expansion within the company has been significant and today G&D have a sales office located in Fiji as well as two fully Accredited High Security facilities located in Melbourne and Sydney.
